Men's Composite Toe work boots and shoes are designed with protective Safety Toe Caps that are made of lightweight Non-Metallic Materials, such as; Alloy, Aluminum and Carbon Fibers.
Composite Toe Caps protect feet just as well as their thicker steel toe counterparts. They meet the same rigid work place safety standards set forth by the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) for impact and compression. Composite Toe Caps work hard to protect feet from sharp, or heavy crushing objects, that might drop or roll onto the feet. An added advantage to wearing composite toe boots is that they will not conduct outside heat or cold temperatures into thetoe box boots like steel will.
One major advantage that Composite Toe Caps have, over those made with steel, is that they are are engineered to be much thinner, so they take up less room in the walls of the boots in the toe boxes. This results in more wiggle room for toes deep within the toes of the work boots.
