Dansko's state-of-the-art designs have even earned the APMA Seal of Acceptance for many of their collections. The technologies that go into Dansko clogs and Dansko Nursing Shoes will keep feet comfortable, even on the longest work shifts.

 

HAND-STAPLED CONSTRUCTION

Some Dansko shoes and boots are made with Hand-Stapled Construction. This personally-done construction method means that the clog's uppers are carefully attached to the outsoles by hand, both for durability and to ensure that the quality of the shoes meet their highest standards

 

ROCKER-BOTTOM OUTSOLE

All Dansko Shoes that have Rocker-Bottom Outsoles are engineered to help prevent foot fatigue. The rocking motion of these uniquely designed outsoles helps to propel your forward while you walk, thereby reducing the overall stress and strain on your feet and lower legs.

 

HIGH-ABRASION TPU HEEL COUNTER

Dansko traditional clogs have a unique Heel Counter, rather than a more traditional tight fitting heel cup. A Heel Cup is non-confining, which allows for the free non-restricted movement of the heels as you walk. The counter is there to help properly guide your heels down on to the on the back of the shoe.

 

ERGONOMIC DESIGN

Dansko shoes are made with ergonomically designed to feel natural underfoot. This design allows the shoe to properly sync up with the shape of the foot for the ultimate in comfort and stability.

 

NATURAL ARCH TECHNOLOGY

Dansko's Natural Arch Technology was engineered for comfort. It is a stabilizing TPU Arch that provides support right where you need it most, helping to fight off foot fatigue when you are on your feet for long hours at a time.

 

SLIP-RESISTANT RUBBER OUTSOLE

Dansko shoes, mules and clogs that have a Slip-Resistant Rubber Outsole are ready for the work place. They are certified to provide traction in dry, wet, or oily/wet environments where solid traction is needed for safety.

 

APMA SEAL OF ACCEPTANCE

Some Dansko Collections have been awarded the APMA Seal of Acceptance, for promoting good foot health. These are footwear styles that have been made with the consumer's comfort and safety in mind.

 

PADDED INSTEP COLLAR

Many Danskos have a padded instep collar. The collar is the shoe edge that runs across the top of the foot, which is your instep. This cushioned padding creates a soft layer between the shoe and the delicate Metatarsal bones on the top of the feet.

 

LIGHT WEIGHT EVA MIDSOLE

Danskos that have a light-weight EVA Midsole are made to reduce the stress, strain and fatigue on your lower legs and feet. Lighter weight means less tired feet towards the end of a long work shift, when you have been on your feet all day.

 

REMOVABLE DUAL DENSITY PU FOOTBED

Dansko's removable footbeds allow you to replace the shoe's insole with a personal orthotic, to make them as comfortable as they can be for your feet.

 

PATENT LEATHER FINISH

Dansko makes a great collection of clogs that have a patent leather finish. Besides giving them a nice, shiny finish, their patent leather shoes resist liquid stains and spills and quickly wipe clean with a damp cloth.

 

MEMORY FOAM CUSHIONING

Dansko clogs that have Memory Foam Cushioned Insoles will adapt to your feet over time. This results in a shoe that has unbeatable, personalized comfort. 

 

TPU INNER FRAME

Dansko's TPU Inner Frame is the essential structure of the wall of the shoes and clogs. It is designed to provide lateral stability, to keep your gait straight and helps to reduce the chance of any torque, or twisting of the foot as you walk.

 

WIDE HEEL STRIKE

Dansko Clogs are made with a wide heel strike for enhanced stability. As you walk, the wide heel strike assures a confident, solid footfall landing.

 

LEATHER SOCK-LINING

Dansko makes clogs with a leather sock-linings for long lasting durability, and to keep their clogs feeling cool and comfortable on the inside.

 

COMPRESSION MOLDED EVA OUTSOLE

Some Dansko clogs, like those in the LT PRO series, have Compression Molded EVA Outsoles. These are outsoles that are made of Ethylene Vinyl Acetate on the bottom-most part of the clogs that make contact with the ground.
