Family Footwear Center charges sales tax to New York residents because under New York state law, any business with physical operations in the state of New York must collect sales tax on purchases made at the physical location or online. Online sales are subject to New York state tax based on the shipping address of the item(s). If you have any additional questions please contact us at your convenience.

How long will it take to get my order?

Orders are processed Monday-Friday between 9:00am and 5:00pm EST. All items are shipped from either one of our store locations or the manufacturer's distribution centers. Items shipped from our store locations typically ship within 1-2 business days of processing your order. Items shipped from manufacturer's distribution centers may take up to 3 business days to ship. Once your order has been processed you will receive a confirmation email with the shipping details. You should receive your order within 2-10 full business days from the date of the shipping details email.

Expedited Shipping | Signature/Delivery Confirmation | Insurance

In most cases, orders are eligible for additional shipping services including faster, expedited shipping, signature confirmation, delivery confirmation and package insurance. These services must be requested by phone prior to placing an order and customers are responsible for the additional fees associated with these services. Orders placed using our standard ground shipping method do not include signature confirmation, delivery confirmation or insurance. Family Footwear Center, Inc., the shipper and delivery company are not responsible for packages once they have reached the shipping address destination. As a result, if your shipping address is not a reliable and safe place for delivery companies to leave packages outside please inquire about these additional services prior to placing your order.

International Shipping

Unfortunately we do not ship to locations outside of the contiguous United States.

Some customers choose to use a Ship-Forwarding Company that accepts delivery of your order within the US mainland and then charges you an additional fee to send it to your country.

Please note-that due to the high number of international shipping requests and SPAM that our sales staff receive, we will not respond to any requests for shipment of products to any locations outside of the USA.

Can my order be shipped to Alaska or Hawaii?

Sorry - We are unable to ship to locations outside of the contiguous United States.

Do you ship to P.O. Boxes?

Orders are shipped via UPS or Fed-Ex Ground Service. We are able to ship only some selected items to P.O. Boxes. A physical street address is required for all deliveries.

Out-of-Stock | Back-Ordered Items

In the event that an item you have ordered is out-of-stock, or on a back order, we will notify you with this information via email or phone, unless availability of the item is otherwise noted on the product description page. Your credit card will not be charged, until we have received instructions from you on how to proceed with your order.

Tracking Numbers

Items ship from many different locations, including our five store warehouses and manufacturer's National Distribution Centers. As a result, we are unable to provide automated tracking numbers for some orders.
