Founded in Marlboro Massachussets in 1863, the Frye company is one of the oldest continuously operating footwear manufacturers in the United States.
Frye originally began crafting durable work boots for factory workers in their small New England town. Eventually they began designing boots for soldiers on the battlefield, that could withstand the most severe combat conditions. Frye has supplied boots to Union and Confederate Soldiers during the Civil War, American Troops during World War II and even boots to General Patton himself!
Now celebrating over 150 years in the footwear industry, the quality of their boots has not changed. Frye has expanded into the world of trend-setting, stylish boots for men, women and even children.
Frye's company benchmark is to offer a product that is as beautiful as it is durable, utilizing leather from only the finest tanneries from across the globe. Their stated mission is to "make the best looking, hardest-working, longest-lasting shoes and leather goods." Shop Family Footwear Center and discover our distinctive selection of Frye Boots.
